Dr Thomas O'Connor pours out his wealth of experience and expertise in this book, which is one of the leading best-sellers of its kind online. 

It is a very timely read with the general public increasingly using anabolic in a bid to enhance their physiques. It's usage is even rife in children and young adults, set to be a generation to experience shortened lifespans and health complications later in life. 

This is a not a guide suitable for someone wanting to find out everything about each steroid, so they may become more knowledgeable before taking steroids. Instead America on Steroids is more of a general read from a medical perspective about steroids' general effects; with Dr O'Connor trying to put the fear into people (rightfully) who are thinking about using them.
